Is it bad for your "sport" that sportscenter keeps showing Jimmie Johnson complain about being competed with?
I mean, is it even a sport if everyone’s supposed to let you have passes, and corners without contest? As an outsider looking in, it seems NASCAR is at best fixed when there are such lines of communications available as they can complain. What is everyone supposed to lay down because Johnson can’t get around the course a couple of hundred times without wrecking, or in the top 25 without help from everyone else?
you dont understand, you’re not a nascar fan. it’s BS that Johnson complained that he couldnt get around someone, that’s just racing. But Bowyer was out of contention and wasnt really racing for anything. If he won, it wouldnt matter. If he finished well, it wouldnt matter. If he wrecked, it wouldnt matter. Johnson on the other hand is chasing history. I think you can understand it a little better now….if not, oh well. I do agree though that Johnson shouldnt be complaining.

Why would a car running 25th try to compete with a car running in first?
He is back in 25th for a reason, and the leader is in first for a reason.
Why don’t they allow the kicker to get touched in the NFL?

Johnson is just a big ass cheater, he knows it, his crew chief does it, and his owner can SUCK IT, Johnson doesn’t deserve anything, he did win under the new format, so that ain’t shit. Screw all of you Johnson fans. You are all probably just as dishonest as he is. They shouldn’t call it NASCAR anymore, because of the way it is all rigged now, they know who is going to win way before the race ever starts, its all show now, Mike Helton and France should be dragged behind one of the cars until their bodies just fall to pieces. Tom just contradicted in himself in his own answer. He doesn’t understand F1 and trashes it. F1 is no more tainted than Nascar. Everything else he said, I agree with. You obviously know nothing about the sport or Jimmy Johnson.

What you heard, was simple nerves. Jimmie Johnson and the 48 team were on their way to making NASCAR history. The lap down cars know enough to not get in the way of the chase drivers, or effect the outcome of a race, or championship. It does happen once in awhile, but for the most part the drivers who are competing for the championship are allowed to race eachother. It’s part of the sport, and the "true" fans want to see racing. We don’t want to see Billy Bob who is running in 36th, 25 laps down take out the drivers in the chase and ruin their chance. Don’t trash what you don’t know.
